TALIBAN BUTCHERS MURDERING PAKISTANI SOLDIERS IN COLD BLOOD

If there is any question that TALIBAN ARE TRUE ENEMIES OF PAKISTAN then this news should answer that question once for all. The jihadi menace has not only brutally murdered our brave Pakistani soldiers but they dare to release videos of their dastardly acts. For Taliban apologists who claim that these extremist militants are not responsible for killing Pakistani security forces, please see the UNDENIABLE PROOFS of these photos and video.

This is not the first act of such cowardice by these Taliban butchers. They have done this same act repeatedly, shooting brave Pakistani soldiers while they are bound and unable to defend themselves.

These butchers are the true enemy of Pakistan.

Best defence is offence: Take the fight to Taliban

Gen Athar Abbas: 'Pakistan will not allow militants to carry out attacks on the people and check posts'

Gen Athar Abbas: 'Pakistan will not allow militants to carry out attacks on the people and check posts'

Nine brave sons of the nation were martyred on Monday following an ambush by militants on the outskirts of Peshawar.

“It was an ambush in the afternoon. It continued for two to three hours, and there have been casualties in the ambush. There have been killings of the terrorists as well,” military spokesman Major General Athar Abbas told AFP.

He was unable to give a casualty count, but military and political officials in the northwest said nine paramilitary troops were killed.”

Interior Minister Rehman Malik has said that peace talks will only be held with militants if they lay down their arms first. This is the correct response. If we allow militants to kill our soldiers and then invite them for chai samosa, we will enter any peace talks from a position of weakness.

It is said that best defence is offence, and before any peace talks are negotiated with Taliban insurgents, we must approach from a position of strength. That means that we need to take the fight to the militants and deal them a swift and unforgettable defeat that will leave their ears ringing for the foreseeable future.

We should remember the outcome of our last attempt to negotiate peace agreements with Taliban militants. In 2009, we agreed to concessions expanding Shariat in frontier region according to the demands of Tehrik-Nifaz-i-Shariat Mohammed (TNSM) leader Sufi Mohammed and the militants even then refused to lay down their weapons. Soon after, despite all the concessions made, the Taliban took a ‘Do More’ mantra and attacked again.

The attack occurred despite Pakistan making further concessions to the Taliban by establishing an Islamic appeal court. Officials had insisted that by carrying out its part of the agreement, the government could gain more support from the public to take action against the Taliban if the militants violate the pact.

Taliban militants have said before that any peace deal is only a strategic step in their greater goal of taking over the government and imposing Taliban rule, turning Pakistan into another Afghanistan.

“From the very beginning, I have viewed democracy as a system imposed on us by the infidels. Islam does not allow democracy or elections,” he told Deutsche Presse-Agentur in an interview held a few days before the government accepted his demand of enforcing sharia in the region. “Had the government accepted our demands in 1994, we would have not seen the violence we are seeing today,” he added. Sufi Muhammad’s son-in-law, Mullah Fazlullah, has fostered the violence in the name of Islam.

“I believe the Taliban government formed a complete Islamic state, which was an ideal example for other Muslim countries. Had this government remained intact, it could have led to the establishment of similar Islamic governments in many other countries,” he said.

Not only militant leaders but officers from India, America, and Afghan security forces are watching closely how we react to militant attacks. If we allow this bunch of militants to violate our sovereignty, to act without the fear of severe consequences, if we allow them to dictate to us a ‘Do More’ mantra then what fear will greater powers like India and America have of attacking us? They will see that we are weak when threatened by lashkars with rocket launchers and kalashnikovs and believe that our claims of military strength are a bluff. It will be us who follows the Soviet Union in falling to the militants, while the Indians and the Americans laugh.

We must not allow this humiliation to come upon us. These Taliban militants are anti-Pakistan and must be crushed. Then the Americans will see that we are able to defeat the very militants who have kept them mired in a quagmire since 10 years and they will know that Pakistan is not a country to be toyed with. Then there will be not more talk of ground invasions by the Americans, but a return to strategic dialogue that respects Pakistan’s role in the region.

TROJAN HORSES ISOLATING PAKISTAN WHILE INDIA LAUGHS

Indian Trojan HorsesNew research exposes the Indian trojan horses who continue to scheme to stab Pakistan in the back. Having fully realized that Pakistan will never be broken up and will never be held under Indian rule, these anti-Pakistan elements have moved to a new phase which is to isolate Pakistan from its historical allies to punish it through starving its security forces and lack of resources such as North Korea and Cuba. In the most sinister fashion this plan is being carried out by fifth columnists inside the country who beating the drum of hyper-nationalism have hypnotised the awam and are threatening to choke the nation by alienating our historical allies.

During highly classified briefings at the US Congress it was revealed that the 2/5 raid to kill Osama bin Laden was orchestrated not only by US but with the help of Saudi Arabia and Turkey also.

Saudi Arabia and Turkey separately played significant roles in persuading Pakistan to give up Osama bin Laden and facilitate his elimination by the US, according to pieces that are slowly fitting the puzzle of Sunday’s anti-terror operation in Abbottabad.

Increased defence cooperation between US and Saudia Arabia was also revealed as both countries are working to create a new elite security force.

The newly established specialized force is separate from the regular Saudi military and is also distinct from Saudi Arabian National Guard, an internal security force whose mission is to protect the royal family and the Muslim holy places of Mecca and Medina. The U.S. has had a training and advising role with the regular Saudi military since 1953 and began advising the National Guard in 1973.

The new arrangement is based on a May 2008 deal signed by then-Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Saudi Interior Minister Prince Nayef. That same month the U.S. and Saudi Arabia also signed an understanding on civil nuclear energy cooperation in which Washington agreed to help the Saudis develop nuclear energy for use in medicine, industry and power generation.

In October 2008, Ford Fraker, then the U.S. ambassador to Saudi Arabia, called the facilities security force program “probably the single biggest initiative for the U.S.-Saudi relationship” and said the value of contracts associated with the program could reach tens of billions of dollars.

This close cooperation gives Saudi Arabia access to advanced weapons technology to defend their national security.

When Defense Secretary Robert Gates visited Riyadh in April, he reaffirmed U.S. intentions to proceed with the deal announced last fall to sell up to $60 billion in weaponry, including 84 F-15s and the upgrading of 70 existing Saudi F-15s.

U.S. officials said the arms deal might be expanded to include naval ships and possibly more advanced air and missile defense systems. The Saudis want to upgrade their Patriot air defenses to the latest U.S. version, which can knock down short-range ballistic missiles in flight. And they have expressed interest in a more capable system designed to defend against higher-flying, medium-range missiles.

At the same time that US is growing closer with Saudia Arabia and Turkey, also they are growing closer with China. This week the chief of China’s powerful military declared that US and China are “inseparable” and work together to maintain peace and stability in Asia.

China “never intends to challenge the US,” Chen told the officers, speaking through an interpreter.

China “welcomes a constructive US role in maintaining and promoting peace stability and prosperity in the Asia-Pacific region,” he said.

The Arab revolutions have awoken the world and Middle Eastern countries are moving away from terrorism that threatens each country’s own security as well as peace between nations and yet still some elements in Pakistan continue to beat the drum of anti-Americanism and sympathy for militant groups. Now what is the result? Saudi Arabia is calling back their diplomats from Pakistan.

This scheme threatens to isolate Pakistan in the worst way by creating distrust and doubt with our historical allies Saudi Arabia, US, and Turkey. As is clear from the news articles quoted as well as Barack Obama’s speech on Wednesday, the US is looking to build militaries in the Middle East that are fighting the terrorist menace. No country has done more in this fight than Pakistan, and yet the perception of our military forces is being sullied every day by those who appear in foreign media making outrageous claims and projecting a pro-jihadi mindset.

Thus while the US is giving the most advanced air and missile defence systems to Saudi Arabia, the exact air and anti-missile defence systems necessary to protecting Pakistan from an attack from the East, the US Congress is questioning to consider military aid to Pakistan because the image of Pakistan projected by these elements is one of jihadi sympathies. While they talk of sovereignty they are undermining the sovereignty by weakening our security alliances against such attacks. While they talk of national honour they are are undermining the national honour by making outrageous claims and projecting a pro-jihadi mindset. Meanwhile it is the soldiers and officers on the front lines who are being targeted and killed by the jihadis who are defended by some Mir Jafars and India is laughing while their agenda is served perfectly.

PAKISTAN AT WAR

The country is at war. This week we have suffered two attacks from Taliban militants that have killed almost 100 people and injured hundreds more.

Tuesday’s bomb attack by Taliban in Faisalabad struck directly at the heart of national security when the attackers detonated car bomb near the PIA building and security services office killing 32 innocent civilians and wounding 125 others.

Faisalabad Bomb Attack

The following day Taliban militants detonated a bomb in Peshawar targeting the grieving civilians attending a funeral procession. In a display of maximum cowardice, the attackers strapped the bomb to a young boy who had been brain washed by the diabolical jihadists.

Peshawar Bombing

Taliban spokesman Ahsanullah Ahsan declared the attack against Pakistan and vowed to destabilise the country and bring down the government.

THIS IS NOTHING LESS THAN DECLARATION OF WAR BY TALIBAN AGAINST PAKISTAN.

Real Pakistani Nationalists in Pak military fighting back. General Officer Commanding 7-Division Major General Ghayur Mehmood gave briefing with the title, ‘MYTHS AND RUMOURS ABOUT DRONE STRIKES’ and said drone strikes targeting the terrorists who plotting against Pakistan.

The Military’s 7-Dvision’s official paper on the attacks till Monday said that between 2007 and 2011 about 164 predator strikes had been carried out and over 964 terrorists had been killed.

Of those killed, 793 were locals and 171 foreigners, including Arabs, Uzbeks, Tajiks, Chechens, Filipinos and Moroccans.

In 2007, one missile strike left one militant dead while the year 2010 was the deadliest when the attacks had left more than 423 terrorists dead.

In 2008, 23 drone strikes killed 152 militants, 12 of them were foreigners or affiliated with Al Qaeda.

In 2009, around 20 predator strikes were carried out, killing 179 militants, including 20 foreigners, and in the following year 423 militants, including 133 foreigners, were killed in 103 strikes.

In attacks till March 7 this year, 39 militants, including five foreigners, were killed.

This proofs a lie the Taliban propaganda against Pak-US military partnership spread to cause division in Pakistan and undermine the success of military operations. Real Pak Nationalists will not be such fools.

MILITANTS BOMB MOSQUE DURING FRIDAY PRAYER

As if there was any more proof necessary that the religion of jihadi militants Taliban and al-Qaeda is ANTI-ISLAM and ANTI-MUSLIM there is the PROOF in the bomb attack against peaceful Muslims saying Friday prayers.

A bomb attack on a packed mosque in militant-infested northwest Pakistan killed at least 11 people and wounded over 20 others after it ripped through Friday prayers, police and medics said.Hundreds of people were coming out of the mosque or waiting for a charity meal when the blast hit, police said, adding that the bomb had been planted inside the building near the town of Nowshera.

Witnesses described scenes of panic, the mosque’s windows and doors blown out by the strength of the explosion and blood sprayed on the building walls.

“I was distributing rice among the devotees when suddenly a huge blast occurred and I remember seeing people running and falling in panic,” Suleman Shah, 30, a jeweller, told AFP.

An AFP reporter at the site said: “There were blood marks in the mosque and cooked rice was scattered at some places. The blast had mangled the ceiling fans and all doors and windows of the mosque building were broken.”

Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked militants launch daily attacks across northwest Pakistan and the tribal belt that Washington has branded the most dangerous place on Earth.

More than 4,000 people have died in suicide and bomb attacks across Pakistan since government forces launched an offensive against militants in a mosque in Islamabad in 2007.

The mosque in Friday’s attack is located in a shrine named after Muslim saint Akhund Panju Baba, in Akbar Pura town, on the outskirts of Nowshera.

“The death toll is 11 now as two of the wounded men passed away,” Abdul Hameed Afridi, head of the Lady Reading hospital in Peshawar, the main city in the region, told AFP.

The death toll was earlier put at nine.

There was one child among the dead, he said, adding that 21 wounded were being treated at the hospital, four of whom were critical.

We must unite to defend Pakistan from TTP Butchers

The following letter by REAL PAKISTANI NATIONALIST Sher Khan published in Pakistn Today of 23 February

The video released on the internet is horrible. The way Col Imam was killed by Hakimullah Mehsud’s assassin, after the TTP chief stage-managed recording of a video-taped message for Pakistan’s security forces and ISI, it carries a declaration of war, a direct threat and an open warning to the Government of Pakistan – face the music.

The retired veteran Colonel Imam stood rock solid like a soldier before Hakimullah Mehsud, the gunmen and another ‘TTP’ leader, whose face was not deliberately shown – that speaks volumes of the hidden hands behind this and other horrific acts. He faced first two bullets with courage but fell down when the third bullet hit his head. He didn’t beg for mercy from the brutal barbarian. He, according to media reports, had went there, along with the already slain Khalid Khawaja and a renowned journalist, for patch-up, to bridge differences and earn a negotiated settlement but the perpetrators made them hostage, killed Khwaja and now Col Imam.

His death and the drone attack after a pause have occurred at a time when all hopes of Davis’ release seemed exhausting. The message is clear. This has exposed the real face of Taliban and their leader. With this, we, the people of Pakistan, should wake up to the call of the time, get united, join hands together, shun differences, focus our energies to one cause of defending and saving every inch of Pakistan, to fight out the enemy and those working and conspiring against the security of the country. Col Imam was the soldier of Pakistan. He must be honoured.

SHER KHAN

TTP TARGETING PAK POLICE AND YOUTH

Peshawar suicide bomb attack against police

Taliban butchers are viciously slaughtering our youth and police in a scheme to target the very heart and soul of the nation.

“The bomber was a teenager, he came on foot and blew himself up near the police van,” Ahmed said.

The attack killed three policemen — deputy superintendent Rashid Khan, his security guard and driver — while two civilians also died in the blast, officials said.

“We have received four bodies — three police officials and one civilian,” the head of Peshawar’s main hospital Abdul Hameed Afridi told AFP.

One more person later died of his injuries in the hospital, he said, adding that another seven of the injured were in a serious condition in hospital.

TTP spokesman Azam Tariq has declared that the jihadis have Pakistan’s police and security forces in their sights and will continue to murder them if left unchallenged.

But Pak police are not so easily intimidated by ruthless thugs and miscreants such as this. Senior minister of the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province Bashir Bilour responded to say “it will only strengthen our resolve to eliminate terrorists”.

The greatest threat to the future of Pakistan is from these jihadi bands who are so evil that they will strap a bomb to a teenager and send him to his death as attack on our own security forces. What could be more evil than this? But Pakistan police will not be swayed by such tactics rather our resolve will only be stronger as we take the fight to these jihadi monsters and wipe them from the face of the earth.

PAKISTAN NATIONALISTS REJECT JIHADI KILLERS

Real Pak Heroes

Real Pakistan Heroes Police and Military Saving Lives

Following deadly attacks on Pakistani citizens in Lahore and Karachi this week, Chief of Police Lahore Aslam Tareen told The Nation that “religious elements are playing in the hands of enemies of Pakistan in the name of Islam”. Pakistani nationalists must unite to defeat these Trojan Horses who seek to destabilize and break up the Pakistani nation.

Federal Minister for Interior Senator Rehman Malik condemned the attacks carried out by jihadi suicide bombers and declared Pakistan Police Medal (PPM) to those heroes who have sacrificed their lives in the line of their duty. The injured Manzoor ASI has also been awarded Pakistan Police Medal (PPM) on the recommendation of IG Sindh.

Pakistani police and military are the true heroes against such anti-Pakistan elements as TTP, LeT, SSP and other jihadi groups that murder innocent Pakistani citizens and attempt to create chaos and division among the masses. True Muslim leaders will take an effective role to counter the recruitment of Pakistani youth by these groups.

The government must take concrete steps to deal with hostile elements to disrupt their nefarious designs. Moreover, religious leaders of different factions should play more effective role to counter this menace as the country is at war in which the enemy is unseen.

There is a need for general awareness among the public about terrorists’ techniques used to subvert the uneducated youth and their method of infiltrating communities and masses to gain their support during planning and execution phases.

Police experts emphasise on the importance of resumption of local community vigilance system, coordination with police and monitoring of children’s activities by their parents.

Also the proud Pakistani citizen must exercise vigilance by being aware of jihadi techniques and tell-tale-signed and alert law enforcement of these when they are noticed.

‘We need the cooperation of public and activation of community vigilance system as it will enable law enforcing agencies to deliver more effectively and efficiently’, police officers say.

The communities and the masses should learn the techniques used by the terrorists to subvert their off shorts. The masses should be motivated to offer cooperation to the community leaders and the law-enforcing agencies to counter the menace of terrorism.

Most important the Islamist parties must not put their own ambitions ahead of the national interests. Islamist parties must issue declarations condemning the jihadi militant groups and call on true Muslims to work within the political process to protect the country and reject sectarian violence.

Political set up in Pakistan is moving in divergent directions where they would be exposed to more vulnerable risks and mutual destructive moves. Under such atmosphere, the government should give a clear message to all the Islamist parties, whose role is enshrined in our cultural life, to choose their aims and strategies correctly beyond sectarian considerations to set the domestic policies in order to shed away charges of breeding terrorism in the world.

A unified Paksitan is stronger than a thousand nations and will never fall prey to the threats and attacks of miscreants and evil groups that twist the teachings of Islam to justify their violence against our people.

DEATH OF COLONEL IMAM PROVES JIHADI TREACHERY

TREACHEROUS KILLERS OF COL IMAM

TREACHEROUS KILLERS OF COL IMAM

If it was not already apparent from the murder of Khalid Khawaja last year the death of Col Imam clearly proves that the jihadi militants are not allies or assets of Pakistan but operating with no regards to loyalty or nation.

It would be proper to note here that Col Imam was outspoken against the American strategies in Afghanistan rather he was proponent of dialogue with Taliban leaders to determine an acceptable political solution to the fighting. For his efforts, the jihadi militants murdered him.

He warned that American attempts to divide the Taliban by bribing commanders was doomed to failure. “Their strategy will not work,” he said. “This carrot-and-stick strategy is going to backfire badly.”

But the manner of the death of the “godfather of the Taliban” suggests that there were some thing he could not foresee – and that even the powerful spy agency has very limited influence over the militants within their own borders.

This should be a grave warning to those who continue to believe the lies of jihadi militants that they want a peace while they are at the same time killing our soldiers and our citizens. Even those who have raised them from the beginning and stood by their cause are being murdered.

NEW TERROR SYNDICATE THREATENS PAKISTAN

In the past one lashkar was different from another lashkar and each could be treated differently with regards to its position towards the state. But today that has changed. New evidence reveals that a new terror syndicate is threatening Pakistan’s sovereignty as traditionally independent and opposing militant groups are joining forces to attack Pakistan’s military and government according to a report in The New York Times.

Increased cooperation among insurgent factions also is being reported inside Pakistan, where many of the extremist organizations are based or where their leaders have found a haven.

American and NATO officials said they had seen evidence of loose cooperation among other insurgent groups, including Lashkar-e-Taiba and Tehrik-i-Taliban.

Lashkar is a Punjabi group and is considered one of the most serious long-term threats inside Pakistan. The Punjabi groups, many of which were created by Pakistani intelligence to fight against India’s interests in Kashmir, now appear to be teaming up with Pashtun groups like the Afghan and Pakistani Taliban to fight their creators, the Pakistani intelligence and security services.

Pentagon and military officials who routinely engage with their Pakistani counterparts said officials in Islamabad, Pakistan’s capital, agreed with the new American and NATO assessments.

“This is actually a syndicate of related and associated militant groups and networks,” said one American officer, summarizing the emerging view of Pakistani officials. “Trying to parse them, as if they have firewalls in between them, is really kind of silly. They cooperate with each other. They franchise work with each other.”

Just as the American support for al Qaeda as proxy fighters in Afghanistan during the Cold War has come back to haunt it in the case of 9/11 and other attempted attacks on American soil, so our own support for militia groups as proxy fighters to liberate Kashmir has turned its venom upon us.
