The latest internet hoax claiming the secret wedding of President Zardari and an American doctor may be a RAW PSYOPS campaign to undermine the national morale, research indicates. Psychological Operations or PSYOPS is the brand of propaganda campaigns that are meant to influence the emotions and undermine objective reasoning of the enemy. There is clear evidence that the latest internet hoax is actually a PSYOPS campaign of RAW.

This internet hoax appeared recently on a couple of blogs but had not authentic evidence to support it. Actually it was ignored by almost every Pakistani media group as the attempt was so obviously a fake that only someone with a low intelligence would believe such a story. The only media group in Pakistan to publish the story was Jang Group when the reporter Shaheen Sehbai fell for the story. But even Jang discovered the story was fake and ran separate stories that revealed that the president has never even met this American doctor.

The question must be asked why such a story would be invented and who would attempt to spread such a story. This leads to the underlying question of who would gain from Pakistanis believing this lie and losing faith in the government? Obviously the only answer is India who continues their attempts to weaken the strength of the nation by sowing seeds of depression and discontent.

India has seen the strength of a unified Pakistan in the reaction to militant attacks and flood devastation and has been given quite the shock of its lifetime. This has created a realisation in the Indian establishment that as long as Pakistan is united behind its government and security forces, nothing can undermine our sovereignty and our might. Their reaction was this latest hoax created as a desperate attempt by RAW to create division among the people.

But the Pakistani people do not have the brain of a mouse which is the only foolishness that would believe such a small minded attempt to create doubt and division. Rather this story has been laughed off the record as once again RAWs attempt to divide Pakistan has failed as it always will.
